End of Summer

Here are some more pictures from this summer. Little Lee loves to wrestle around with blankets. Here he is on the kitchen floor.

He is a very messy eater. He gets food everywhere so he has to eat in his diaper and get wiped down afterwards.

Kailee and Little Lee at the zoo. Little Lee loved looking at all the animals. It was a good day at the zoo they were able to see a lot of animals close up.

We spent a week in Minnesota visiting Kailee and Lee's great-grandparents. Here's Kailee trying to catch a frog. You can't really see the frog, he blends into the grass.

All kids who come to my grandfather's farm love looking at and playing with all the heavy equipment. Here's Little Lee on and around one.

My dad loves this old tractor. Here he is taking the kids for a ride. Little Lee liked it until it was turned on and then he wasn't so sure. Here he is clinging to grandpa and waving to me at the same time.

We got caught out in the rain because the door was locked. Little Lee just sat down on the step and waited to get inside.

Little Lee liked being out on the water with me, but then wanted to get in himself. So I put him in the water and he didn't like it at all. He wanted to get back on the boat.

This life jacket made it hard for Little Lee to move around in. When he fell down he couldn't get up. He would just rock back and forth trying to get up.

We also went camping this summer about an hour from Salem in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. They have this little river that is pretty shallow in the summer, but the water is kind of cold.

We also went to the beach the last weekend of August with our friends the Rice's. Here are the kids all sitting on the couch reading books. We didn't even put them this way, they did it on their own.

Little Lee wasn't so sure about the waves coming at him. He kept running away to Lee to pick him up. Later on all he wanted to do was run out into the ocean.
